The Vietnamese delegation offers flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his statue in Bolivar Avenue, Caracas, Venezuela.

The Vietnamese delegation had meetings with Jesus Farias, Member of the Venezuelan Constituent Assembly and Vice President in charge of economic affairs of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Jesus Farias; and Venezuelan Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Tatiana Puigh.

Quan recalled the solidarity and support that the progressive forces and people of Venezuela gave to Vietnam in the struggle for reunification in the past and the renewal cause at present.

The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) is delighted at the achievements that the PSUV has obtained over the past time, especially the success of its 5th National Congress, Quan said.

He expressed the belief that the Venezuelan party will successfully implement the congress’s resolution, building Venezuela into a prosperous country as the teachings of leader Hugo Chávez.

This is an important premise for Vietnam and Venezuela to expand all-around cooperation, including cooperation between their localities, Quan stressed.

During the visit, the delegation also had meetings with and inked cooperation agreements with organizations and businesses of the South American nation.

On the occasion, the delegation offered flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his statue in Bolivar Avenue, Caracas, Venezuela.
