Argentina - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group debuts
The Argentina – Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group debuted in Buenos Aires on August 17, ahead of the 72nd anniversary of National Day of Vietnam (September 2).
Opening the event, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina Patricia Viviana Giménez expressed her belief that the group will actively contribute to strengthening bilateral political, economic and trade ties as well as relations between Vietnamese and Argentine legislatures.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Dang Xuan Dung hailed the group as a parliamentary diplomatic channel to promote bilateral multifaceted ties, adding that the two countries are preparing for the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties by 2018.
He pledged to work closely with the group and the Argentine parliament to enhance bilateral ties in the future.
Chairwoman of the Argentina – Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group Elva Susana Balbo presented the group’s guidelines and orientations, saying that it will serve as a bridge to further tighten friendly links between the two legislatures.
On the occasion, Argentine parliamentarians expressed their wish to share experience with Vietnam in poverty reduction, sustainable economic growth and supplementary fields.
