Vietnam’s High Quality Products 2007, the only festival of the trade promotion programme by Ho Chi Minh city’s People’s Committee, on April 27 was unveiled at Phu Tho Sport Complex (District 11), displaying 1,050 pavilions located in 3 sections of 9 different sectors from 280 businesses.

During the festival, consumers can watch 15 special programmes and 9 stage performances, including night shows about fashion and music at 19.00 every day.

According to the organizing board, each business must have at least one new product displayed, and 30% of them will hold games and business-customer exchanges for visitors. 50 telephone sets for free-of-charge domestic and international call between 09.00-21.00 will be set up by Viettel, which will also install 40 internet-linked computer booths with 60 consoles to play free online games .

An auction on 4 Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2007 collections will be held by Phuong Dong Garment at an initial price of 2.5-3.2 million VND each. Funds raised from the auction will be sent to the Education Development Foundation to support poor children’s study. Details are posted at www.pdg.com.vn.

On the opening night, top 100 trademarks were given Vietnam’s High Quality Products 2007 by the organization board as voted by consumers.

The event will last until May 2.
