Vietnam joins ASEAN handicraft and fine art festival

Nearly 100 Vietnamese artisans, artists and mode designers and representatives of 32 potential enterprises of
Vietnam attended the first ASEAN festival on fine arts and handicraft articles, which was opened on Nov. 29 in
Ayutthaya, the ancient imperial
province of Thailand.
Vietnam’s traditional dress (ao dai) and brassiere will be on show at the festival by Thai’s models. The art of Vietnamese water puppetry is also included in the festival’s agenda.
Besides, a wide range of activities demonstrating cultural identities of the participating countries will also be introduced at the festival that lasts until Dec. 3.
