Reference exchange rate continues to go up on April 25
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at VND 23,018 per USD on April 25, up VND 5 from the previous day (April 24).
With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied by commercial banks for the day is VND 23,708 per USD and the floor rate is VND 22,327 per USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banks also rose.

As of 8:15 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at VND 23,190 per USD and the selling rate at VND 23,290 per USD, both up VND 25 from April 24.
BIDV added VND 15 to both rates, listing the buying rate at VND 23,180 per USD and the selling rate at 23,280 VND per USD.
Techcombank also increased both rates by VND 25 to VND 23,170 per USD (buying) and VND 23,290 per USD (selling).
