Speaking about Vietnam’s participation, Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counsellor at the Vietnamese Embassy in India, stated that this decision is tied to the shared commitment between the two countries to achieving net-zero emissions, with Vietnam setting its target for 2050. According to him, plastic waste is a major challenge; therefore, showcasing organic plastics, biodegradable plastics, and environmentally friendly technological solutions at the exhibition is of practical significance, contributing to environmental protection and promoting sustainable development.
He also emphasized that with the support of the Trade Office, Vietnamese enterprises confidently took part in the event, with the expectation that the plastics industry will make a positive contribution to the national goal of 12% export growth in 2025.
Raj Plast 2025 is expected to not only affirm its role as a bridge for cooperation in the plastics industry between Vietnam and India but also open up many opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to expand their markets and engage more deeply in the global supply chain.
