“Nestle Water Group pledges to further strengthen financial and human resource cooperation and ensure La Vie mineral water brand’s international quality in Vietnam market”, affirmed John J Harris, Managing Director of Nestle Waters during his recent visit to a La Vie plant in Long An province.
In the short term, Nestle Waters will invest several millions of dollars to strengthen its La Vie plant’s capacity in Vietnam each year. In 2009, the group spent US$6 million to expand and install a new production line for the La Vie factory in Long An province.
La Vie is a joint venture between Nestle Waters and Long An General Trading Company. In 2009, La Vie was the leading bottled water brand in Vietnam, holding 31% of the market share.
