Mavin to invest in food processing plant in Vietnam
Vietnam-Austria joint venture Mavin will invest in a high-tech variety research and development center and a food processing plant in the south at a total cost of over USD 80 million, said its Chairman David John Whitehead.
Recently, Mavin Group inaugurated an animal feed warehouse in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang. Covering an area of nearly 1,000 sq.m, it accommodates up to 1,000 tons of animal feed to serve customers in the Southwest and Ho Chi Minh City, thus strengthening Mavin brand in the region.
Earlier in May 2018, the group inaugurated an animal feed plant in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap, which was its largest and modern plant in the region.
Mavin put into use a warehouse in Dong Thap and a breeding pig farm in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang with 200 sows, 100 boars and 3,000 young pigs, contributing to improving sow quality in the locality.
