La Vie Company has just installed 2 new production lines worth US $6 million in its factory in Long An Province, which has considerably raised the factory’s production capacity.

La Vie’s General Director, Mr Gilles, said that the investment is noteworthy as the Vietnamese bottled drinking water market is on the rise. This year, the rise in the need for bottled water may stand at 8-10 per cent, according to the company.

At this point, La Vie is considering expanding the production of its factory in the northern province of Hung Yen, and the project is expected to be implemented in 2010.  

The General Director announced that the company will invest in additional VND 60-80 billion to raise its production capacity in northern Vietnam.
