Direct flights connecting Korea and Danang city of Vietnam are scheduled to begin by July-August this year by Asiana Airlines (Korean Kumho Asiana Group), the airlines’ CEO, Mr Kang Joo An has revealed.

Under the plan, 19 flights between Danang International Airport and Incheon International Airport will be introduced to the public.

During his working visit to Danang, Mr Kang Joo An said the airline would work with Korean travel agencies to organise tours of the region.

Danang leaders believe that the proposal will help promote the development of regional economy thanks to the city’s position located among destinations of the world’s natural and cultural heritages and the local growing attraction to Korean investors.

Asiana Airlines is the well-established national airlines of Korea besides Korean Air. At present, it has two representative offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
