A ceremony to launch an “Action Month for Food Hygiene and Safety in 2011”, under the title “Producing, trading and using foods under the Food Safety Law”, will be held at the Tu Liem District’s Cultural House on April 9th, according to a plan approved by Hoang Manh Hien, Vice-Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee.

The event aims to promote the participation of state agencies and businesses in, and public awareness of, food safety and hygiene.

The City’s Department of Health, an agency of the Steering Committee of Food Hygiene and Safety, and other relevant bodies, have been asked to prepare all necessary conditions for the launching ceremony.
