Hanoi-Vung Tau Beer Joint Venture has started the construction of Hanoi-Vung Tau Beer Factory in My Xuan A Industrial Park in Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
The US$ 42 million factory covers an area of 8.2ha.
Hanoi-Vung Tau Joint Venture was established by Carlsberg and Habeco Company. Its main product, Carlsberg and Hanoi beer are to serve people in the southern provinces.

Under plan, the factory will be brought into production in 2010 with an annual capacity of 50 million litres in the first phase. In the next phase, its capacity is expected to double.

It is estimated that the factory will provide jobs to about 250 local workers.
