Since the start of this year, the Van Phong Economic Zone has attracted as many as 73 investment projects, worth a total of over US $33 billion, including 20 foreign-capital investment projects.

The economic zone’s management board has issued operational licences to 20 projects worth over US $1.25 billion, including the Van Phong International Airport, the Vinh Yen resettlement area and the Hon Ngang – Bai Cat Tham Marine Ecotourism Zone.

In addition, the management board also handed over investment licences to 25 projects in heavy industry, marine ecotourism and waste treatment.
