An additional 41,900 enterprises were set up during the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 0.25 percent.
According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), the newly established businesses registered a combined capital of 250.6 trillion VND, a rise of 27.8 percent as compared to the same period last year.
Despite difficulties in capital mobilisation and market, the development of newly established enterprises is sustainable, reflecting businesses and investors’ confidence in the economy’s potential of growth.
