Through the provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding, VCIC will supports local entrepreneurs in developing innovative business technology having many opportunities to connect trade, services, investment and technology transfer with Korean partners.

At the MOU signing ceremony

VKBIA will be a bridge to support the organization of specialized investment promotion conferences to help Vietnamese business delegations of VCIC come to the Republic of Korea, coordinate training and support startups to accelerate and access to investors and intellectual experts in specific fields.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Nguyen Vu Tung stressed that the Vietnam - Korea partnership on the basis of trust is very important and he will accompany the determination of action of VKBIA and VCIC. Mr. Hong Sun, Permanent Vice Chairman of Korea Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam  (KORCHAM), emphasized that the signing ceremony of the MOU marks another important milestone in developing the relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. He also affirmed that, in the coming time, KORCHAM will sign a comprehensive cooperation agreement with VKBIA to continue promoting stronger trade relations between the two countries.

The VCIC is a World Bank’s project implemented by the Government of Vietnam through the MST with the financial support from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the UK Department for International Development (DFID). Meanwhile, the VKBIA is an organization of businessmen, experts, intellectuals and organizations aiming at promoting trading not only in Vietnam and the Republic of Korea but also in other markets in the world.
