The Group also said it’s the first step on the way to entering the country’s tourism and accommodation market.

Route Inn Group has also been developing the five-star Grand Ocean Resort in Dien Nam-Dien Ngoc, Quang Nam province.

The introduction of the four-star hotel project also marked the first investment by a Japanese company in the hospitality sector in Vietnam.

According to Da Nang city’s liaison office in Tokyo and Yokohama, the project aims to increase investment flows and tourists from Japan to Da Nang and the central region in the near future.

In 2015, Route Inn Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Da Nang-based Dong A College on tourism service employee training.

As scheduled, the group will recruit 200 graduates from the college starting in 2018 to serve a chain of 320 hotels in Japan and Vietnam.
