VTV Ton Hoa Sen Cup 2017 to be launched
PANO – The International Cycling Tournament – VTV Ton Hoa Sen Cup 2017 will be held on September 2 in Hanoi, as revealed at a press briefing held by the Vietnam Motor-Bicycle Sports Federation, the Center for Sports Programs of the Vietnam Television (VTV), Unic Telecom and Hoa Sen Group, on August 9 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The competition is the only trans-Vietnam tournament this year, with a total prize of over VND 1 billion to be awarded 12 top domestic and foreign teams.
This year’s event, with the participation of 80 cyclists, consists of 14 stages covering 1,800 km. Starting off on the National Day (September 2) in Hanoi, the tournament is scheduled to run through numerous cities and provinces, and finishes in Ho Chi Minh City on September 17.
During the tournament, the organizing board will present over 46,000 gifts and 200 bikes to needy students across the country.
