Vietnamese marksman ranks second in world’s 10m air pistol men
PANO - Vietnamese marksman Hoang Xuan Vinh landed on the second place in the world in February 2018 in the men’s 10m air pistol category.
After winning an Olympic gold medal in 2016, Vinh retained the top place for more than one year, but was not successful in recent international tournaments and consequently has fallen one place.

Japanese Matsuda Tomoyuki has risen to the No.1 seat. He was voted best shooter in 2017, according to the International Shooting Sport Federation.
Vinh’s teammate Tran Quoc Cuong is at No.13.
In the men’s 25m rapid pistol, there is no change for Vietnamese athletes. Ha Minh Thanh remains at No.37, Phan Xuan Chuyen is No.47, and Phan Cong Minh No.56.
