The Vietnamese women’s volleyball team has broken into the top three at an FIVB world-level tournament for the first time. 

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet’s players won the first set 25-23, showing strong defensive and offensive strategies. However, Belgian girls fought back in the second set, winning 25-23 and leveling the match.

Embarking onto the third stage, the Vietnamese players regained their momentum with standout performances of key player Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen. Her tactical play and harmonious coordination of the team’s members outmaneuvered the Belgian team, helping win 25-20.

On the heels of their victory, the Vietnamese team maintained consistent pressure on Belgium. With a score of 25-17, Vietnam sealed their historic victory and claimed the bronze medal.

In the final match, the female players from the Czech Republic defeated those from Puerto Rico to win the cup.
