Vietnam’s women football team cruise into AFF Women's Championship's semi-finals
PANO - Vietnam’s women football team advanced to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Women’s Championship’s semi-finals on July 11 after beating Timor Leste rivals 6-0 in the third match of Group B in the Philippines.
Captain Huynh Nhu scored a brace while Van Su, Tuyet Dung, Thanh Nha and Thuy Trang netted one each for the Vietnam’s women football team. Thanks to the result, the team currently topped the group after three matches with nine points and clinched an one-match-early spot in the semi-finals together with Myanmar.

At 6:00 p.m. on July 13, the Vietnam’s women football team will meet the Myanmar’s women football team to compete for the top spot of Group B.
