The second prize went to the team of the DPRK and the third went to the team of Xichuan Club of China.
The tournament took place at the Ha Tinh Gymnasium in the central province of the same name from August 4, with the participation of eight teams, including those from Kazahkstan, Japan, Taiwan (China), China and the DPRK.
The 2,500-seat gymnasium was packed to its capacity and often failed to meet the demand of fans during the matches. Hundreds of temporary additional seats were arranged by the organizing board, while fans had to queue from the evening of August 10 for the final match. The organizing board set up large displays for live broadcast to serve those who failed to get a ticket.
