Thousands of runners to compete in Tien Phong Marathon 2021

Runners will run across breathtaking scenery in Pleiku city

According to the race organizer, some 5,000 amateur and professional runners from 50 sports delegations nationwide will compete in distances of 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km.

Participating in this running competition, athletes will experience challenging tracks with slopes. They will run across breathtaking scenery in Pleiku city, including Bien Ho park, Bien Ho suspension bridge and forests of pine trees.

The marathon is among the oldest competitions in Vietnamese sports.

After more than a decade, Pleiku city will again become the host of this race. Gia Lai province previously hosted the race in 1993 and 2007.
