Hanoi Police FC sparked hopes of a comeback in the 83rd minute when Alan seized upon a defensive error from their opponents to make it 1-2. However, The Cong-Viettel FC remained composed in the final minutes to secure their victory.

With a 2-1 victory, The Cong-Viettel FC ended the first half of the 2024-2025 V-League season in first place with 25 points from 13 matches, while Hanoi Police FC ranks seventh with 17 points.
