Phuong Tram sets record and pockets four gold medals in swimming
PANO – Vietnamese swimmer Nguyen Diep Phuong Tram, born in 2001, pocketed four gold medals at the Southeast Asian Age Groups Swimming Championships in 2016 in Thailand.

The swimmer won two individual gold medals in the events of the women’s 100m backstroke and 100m butterfly, and two gold medals in the women's relay categories.
In particular, Tram won the gold medal in the women’s 100m backstroke with a time of 1:04:65 m, setting a new record. The old record was 1:05.23.
The swimmer from Ho Chi Minh City also achieved two individual silver medals in the 200m mix and 400m freestyle.
