National Traditional Boat Race Tournament 2018 kicks off
PANO - The National Traditional Boat Race Tournament 2018 was kicked off on June 10 at the Ca Ty River, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.

This year’s tournament was co-held by the Vietnam Sailing Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province with the participation of more than 100 athletes from six provinces and cities with a strong potential in boat racing across the country.
During the two-day event, the athletes will compete over the distances of 200 meters, 500 meters and 1,000 meters.
The tournament is an opportunity for the athletes to exchange their experiences and evaluate the organization of boat racing in their localities.
