National Defense TV Channel Tennis Tournament concludes
PANO - The First Open Tennis Tournament hosted by the Military Broadcasting Center in 2019 concluded on June 15 in Ho Chi Minh City with the attendance of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
This is the first time the tennis tournament has been held in Ho Chi Minh City as a practical activity to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

The event at the same time contributes to promoting the physical training and sport movements, enhancing exchange programs, promoting solidarity and cooperation between press agencies inside and outside the military and units, enterprises in the region.
The tournament saw the participation of 88 players from 44 teams in two groups.
The success of the tennis tournament becomes a premise for the TV channel to organize other sport tournaments in the coming time, while creating a useful playground for workers of enterprises and units to improve their physical fitness.
