The five-day event has attracted nearly 2,000 students from primary, secondary, and high schools in the city, who will compete for 85 sets of medals in performance and sparring categories.

The competition aims to promote Vietnamese traditional martial arts among local students, contributing to improving their physical health and promoting sport activities at schools in the city. 

At present, Vovinam is practiced in more than 60 countries in the world. It is played with and without weapons, and includes training of the body as well as the mind.
