During its 100 years of development, the market became a symbol of Can Tho City's tourism and an interesting destination in the Mekong Delta. Apart from selling fruit and vegetables, the market also showcases special agricultural products from neighboring provinces. It is famous for food, specialties, and handicraft products.
This year's festival will cover various events such as photo exhibitions, a display of boat models, fruit carving competition, performances of don ca tai tu (folk music of Southern Vietnam's people).
