Vietnam’s unique water puppets won the Cuban audience’s hearts after a special show at the Carpa Trompoloco Circus in Havana from March 23-25.

The performance, by artists from the Thang Long Water Puppetry Theatre, featured distinctive activities of Vietnamese people such as dragon dance, buffalo fighting, fishing and rice harvest.

A skillful combination of folk music and water puppets supported by light effect in the first ever show in the Caribbean country helped Cuban people gain a deeper insight into Vietnam’s culture and folk arts.
