PANO - Officials of the Vision Asia programme under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) are to pay a working visit to Hanoi from July 10-14.
AFC officials will look into the football situation in Hanoi, especially the organisation, regimes, finance and football information of the Hanoi Football Federation. They will also observe young footballer training, referee training and make recommendations and give tips aiming to boost the city’s football movement.
The Vision Asian programme initiated by AFC President Mohamed Bin Hammam aims to push up football development on the continent. At the very early stage of the project in 2005, AFC chose Vietnam as one of 8 countries to carry out the programme.
In fact, there have been positive results in Long An and Nghe An, the two first localities in Vietnam getting assistance from the project.
The project with specific agendas is hoped togear up football development in Hanoi.
