Vietnamese culture to be introduced in Laos
PANO - A space to introduce Vietnam, its culture and people to the Lao people will open on July 18 at the Lao National Cultural Palace in Vientiane, according to a decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism issued on June 28.

The event is among a series of activities in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Laos and 45 years of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation.
In this space, Vietnam, its culture, people, especially cultural heritage, as well as the country’s development, sports achievements, tourism potential will be introduced to the Lao people and other international friends in this Southeast Asian country.
In particular, on display will be 60 photos of various types of world heritage in Vietnam registered by UNESCO; and a number of ao dai for men and women by designer Lan Huong.
Also at the event, a Hoi An space will provide visitors with Hoi An lanterns via a number of photos and some artifacts about the National Tourism Year in Quang Nam in 2022.
Vietnam's sports achievements at the 31st Southeast Asian Games will also be showcased.
Captions of photos will be in both the Vietnamese and Lao languages.
The event will last until July 21.
