Vietnam-Japan Friendship Concert to take place in Hanoi
A Vietnam-Japan Friendship Concert, themed ‘Spring of Music and Friendship,’ will take place at the L’Espace Center in Hanoi on March 20.
The event, which forms part of the third Vietnam-Japan Piano Festival 2019, is co-held by the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association and the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese.
The concert will be directed by Japanese pianist Ayuko Higuchi, who organized several concerts and performances in many cities in Vietnam from 2004 to 2016, such as Hanoi, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City.

It will also feature the participation of artist Shion Ota, one of the most promising artists in Japan.
In addition, talented young Vietnamese pianists Nguyen Ba Tan and Quach Hoang Nhi will join the special concert.
At the event, artists will entertain the audiences with famous contemporary and folk songs of Vietnam, Japan and many other countries in the world.
The concert is expected to contribute to enhancing cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Japan as well as boosting mutual understanding between their people.
