Vietnam-Japan culinary exchange held
PANO – A program to introduce Vietnamese and Japanese typical cuisine is taking place at the Hanoi Children’s Palace from March 23 to 25. The event is part of activities in celebration of the 45th founding anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations.

It offers a chance to introduce Japanese typical foods to the Vietnamese people and vice versa.
The event comprises two parts with 20 stalls to introduce Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine.
The space of Japanese cuisine displays its special foods like Japanese ramen and soba noodles, takoyaki, sushi and more.
The area of Vietnam introduces to participants special foods of Hanoi, such as “pho”, “nem phung” and some traditional cakes of Vietnam.
The main purpose of the program is to create a space for exchanging and introducing the cultures and people of the two countries, contributing to deepening the bilateral friendship and attracting visitors to the festival and to Hanoi as well.
