Various cultural activities to be held at ethnic village in August
PANO – The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Vinaculto) in Dong Mo area of Kim Son commune, Son Tay town, Hanoi has planned to organize various activities in August to create a useful playground for children, improve the spirit of national unity and strengthen national pride among children.

The activities include a painting festival, a Buddhist meditation course for children, a lantern floating event to show children’s filial duty towards parents, the “National Festival of the Co Tu ethnic people”, the “New ‘Guol’ House Inauguration” of the Co Tu ethnic group, the Arieu ping rites of the Ta Oi ethnic group, and the Het Cha Festival (a festival honoring religious practices of the group) of the Thai ethnic people.
In addition to these activities, the village also stages circus programs to entertain children and visitors to the village will also have chance to enjoy exchange activities with people from different ethnic groups.
