Under the theme “Happy National Day,” these activities will feature the participation of nearly 300 artisans, ethnic groups, artists, and amateur performers. The program will showcase traditional culture of various ethnic groups through the highland market space, folk songs and dances, local cuisine and specialties, contributing to promoting the culture and tourism of each region.

A highlight of the event is the "Colors of the highland" market, which will recreate the vibrant cultural space of the highland market of Northern ethnic groups.

Attendees will enjoy folk songs and dances, local cuisine, and traditional folk games, all presented by the ethnic communities themselves.

The event will feature 50 booths, including 33 booths from the highland market displaying local products and cultural spaces, as well as a photo exhibition.

The program will also include a performance of the Khen (panpipe) dance by the H'mong ethnic minority group from Thai Nguyen province. The Khen is a unique musical instrument that represents traditional rituals and beliefs, and is considered sacred during the H’mong ethnic minority group's festivals. The Khen dance is a distinct art form that reflects community bonds and the spirit of unity in the H’mong people’s life.

In addition, there will be a demonstration of making “banh giay” (round glutinous rice cake) by the H’mong ethnic people from Thai Nguyen province. “Banh giay” is  a traditional cake that is indispensable in the H’mong people's festivals and Tet celebrations.

The folk song and dance program will feature performances praising the homeland, national identity, and traditional folk games, creating a joyful, enthusiastic, and cozy atmosphere that highlights the rich traditional cultures of various ethnic groups on the occasion of the National Day.

Additionally, during the program, several traditional festivals of ethnic communities will also be relived on-site.
