Particularly, authorized by leaders of the Defense Ministry, military regions and the Hanoi Capital Command and units under the Ministry of National Defense handed over gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to revolutionary veterans, families of members of the Vietnamese People's Armed Propaganda Unit for National Liberation, and policy beneficiaries.

The Department of Policies under the General Department of Politics also held different gratitude activities for families of members of the the Vietnamese People's Armed Propaganda Unit for National Liberation and policy beneficiaries in Hanoi.
On the occasion, the Ministry of National Defense built 64 houses for those who rendered good service to the revolution and policy beneficiaries facing housing difficulties.
On September 1, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in association with the Party Central Committee (PCC)'s Commission for Information and Education and Vietnam Television held a special art program at the Hanoi Opera House to mark the 75th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.
The event was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, permanent member of the PCC's Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong, and member of the PCC's Secretariat and Head of PCC's Commission for Information and Education Vo Van Thuong, among others.
With three parts, the art program recalled the thousand-year history of Vietnam, from the foundation of the country to fierce struggles for national independence and freedom and the success of the August Revolution which led to the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam 75 years ago.
On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City presented livelihood equipment, worth VND 350 million in total, to policy beneficiaries and needy wounded soldiers in districts 3,6,7,11 and Cu Chi.
The unit also upgraded houses for policy beneficiaries and needy households in district 2.
