Various activities held during Gia Lai Culture and Tourism Week

Jointly organized by the Gia Lai provincial departments and agencies and the People’s Committee of Pleiku city, the first edition takes place from December 22 to 26.  

The week features various culture and tourism activities, including cuisine exchange among provinces of Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Kon Tum, Binh Dinh, and Phu Yen; gong performance on street; restoration of  traditional cultural rituals of ethnic minority groups.

The organizing panel also holds a conference, themed "Practices and solutions to promote the protection of trademarks and geographical indications in Gia Lai province"; the Pleiku City Marathon to raise funds for the "Warm clothes for children" program; a trade fair to introduce local products with more than 150 booths.
