The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce several photos of preparations for a wedding of the Dao Tien ethnic group in Tan Son district, Phu Tho province.

According to the custom, in the wedding, the bride wears at least 10 sets of dresses and scarves. The innermost set is a gift from her biological parents, the outer sets is from her relatives which will be returned to them after the bride is brought to the broom's house.
