The book “Vietnam – desire for peace” published
PANO - The Vietnam Peace Committee of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) held a ceremony in Hanoi on September 5 to make public the book titled “Vietnam – desire for peace.”
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam and Chairman of the Vietnam Peace Committee Uong Chu Luu emphasized that peace is humanity's greatest wish. It is even more significant for Vietnam, which has gone through many wars to defend the Fatherland. The Vietnamese people always aspire for peace and understand its value better than anyone else.
The "Vietnam – desire for peace" is a reference for research helping readers understand more about peace-related issues in general and Vietnam's viewpoints on peace in particular.
The 300-page book is divided into three main parts and its annexes introduce a collection of articles written by those who joined the activities of the Vietnam Peace Committee and some Vietnamese and international documents.
