Spring Flower Festival held in Hanoi

The festival is expected to be an attraction for flower lovers in Hanoi.

According to Bui Manh Hieu, the owner of the Flower Valley, the festival aimed to honor the Father of floriculture, especially the ancestor of the Nhat Tan peach as well as flower growers in the whole country.

The Flower Valley now has more than 200 kinds of flowers, including traditional flowers of the Nhat Tan flower village and imported flowers from US, the Netherlands, and France.

During the festival, visitors will contemplate the beauty of flowers blooming in vivid colors. In addition, they could participate in various activities such as flower arrangement competition, Ao Dai fashion show, art performances and folk games. Especially, visitors could enjoy typical dishes of the flower valley such as lotus stem salad, lotus-scented wine; and different types of tea.

The festival will last on March 3.
