Special art exchange held to celebrate National Day
PANO - The Communist Review, Nhan Dan Newspaper and Hanoi Party Committee jointly organized a special art exchange entitled “Independence Star” (Sao Doc Lap) on August 28 at the Hanoi Opera House.
The event saw the attendance of Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia, Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang, and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung.

Themed “Vietnam – a heroic country”, the program included two parts featuring short documents and precious photos about the glorious history and revolutionary traditions of the nation.
Meanwhile, various art performances made by famous singers, including Dang Duong, Tan Minh, Trong Tan, Khanh Linh, etc., praised the victories for national independence, especially the August Revolution.
Within the framework of the event, the organizing panel presented 20 savings books, worth VND 10 million each, to revolutionary contributors, heroic Vietnamese Mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, and veterans.
