PANO – A delegation from the General Department of Politics, led by its Deputy Director Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, worked with leaders of Military Zone 7 and Tay Ninh provincial People’s Committee on the restoration and promotion of traditional values of the South Vietnam Central Office relic.

Speaking at the meeting, General Nghia reaffirmed the importance of the relic, where many important historic events took place, saying that relevant organs should promote its restoration for education and tourism purposes.

In 2012, the relic, located in Tan Lap commune, Tan Bien district, Tay Ninh province, was recognized as a Special National Relic. Over the past time, the restoration has been slow due to financial shortages and its remote location.

The same day, the delegation conducted a field survey at the relic, and presented gifts to local people in Tan Khai hamlet, Tan Lap commune.
