The annual festival is held from the 20th to the 23rd day of the eight lunar month, which falls on October 6-9 this year, to honor kings and leading figures of the Tran Dynasty (1225 - 1400) .
Built in the 14th century, An Sinh Temple is an important work in the special national historical relic site related to the Tran Dynasty in Dong Trieu town. The site housed the tombs of eight Tran Kings.
It went under several restorations in the past, with the most recent in 2000.
