The festival drew the participation of eight public art troupes from ten agencies and units under the General Staff.

More than 350 artists who are officers, soldiers, Youth Union members, staff of the GS’s twinning units brought to the festival interesting artistic performances of different genres such as singing, dancing, short plays, folk songs, chants, and concerts. Attentively, many self-edited and new compositions were introduced, showing the richness, vividness, and attractiveness of public art.

The organizers assessed that the performances were rich in contents, diverse in performing styles, clear in themes, and focused on praising the glorious Party, beloved Uncle Ho, revolutionary traditions, love for the country, mission of national construction and defense, 78-year tradition of the General Staff, and more.

Through the festival, the cultural and artistic activities of the General Staff’s affiliates were comprehensively evaluated. Based on the evaluation, innovations and solutions to promote the quality of such activities will be made to help enrich the cultural and spiritual life of troops and people.

An art performance at the 

The festival was a chance for troops to exchange, learn from experience, show off art talent, and arouse enthusiasm and passion; and for agencies and units to boost their solidarity among them and relations with twinning units, contributing to tightening the close ties between military units and stationed localities, troops and people. It also helped promote the campaign of “Building rich and healthy cultural environment in units” coupled with the movement “All people are united to build the cultural life” in residential areas.
