Photo exhibition spotlights Laos-Vietnam friendship
PANO - A photo exhibition featuring everlasting Laos-Vietnam friendship took place on July 19 in Hanoi.

The exhibition was co-held by the Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
It was part of the activities in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic relations (September 5, 1962 - 2022) and the 45th year of the signing of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (July 18, 1977 - 2022).

The event saw the attendance of Vice President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Bounthong Chitmany, Standing Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Binh Minh, and other Party leaders of the two countries.
On display were more than 100 photos highlighting the special relationship between Laos and Vietnam during the struggle for national liberation and the cause of national construction, renovation and development.

On the occasion, the organizing panel exhibited photos featuring Laos’ landscape, people and culture, especially significant achievements gained by the Lao people in the cause of national construction and development.
The exhibition was seen as a practical activity to strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, states and peoples.
