Photo exhibition on ASEAN to be opened
PANO – The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Hanoi municipal People's Committee, will open a photo exhibition themed "ASEAN countries and peoples" on August 5 at Ly Thai To Statue Park, Dinh Tien Hoang street, Hoan Kiem district (Hanoi), to mark the 50th founding anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

For the exhibition, a photo contest was launched two months ago. Since then, the organizing panel has received 10,217 photos by 1,248 photographers from ten ASEAN countries, and the jury selected 230 photos for the exhibition.
The ten best photos from the ten ASEAN countries have also been awarded the "ASEAN photo-2017" Cup.
The exhibition will run till August 11.
