Photo exhibition marks 60 years of Vietnam - Cuba diplomatic ties
PANO - A photo exhibition, entitled “Cuba in the heart of Vietnamese people”, was held by the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Association at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, on November 19, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Cuba diplomatic ties.

Addressing the event, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Viet Thao, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Association, highlighted the special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba over the past six decades, saying that it has become a great source of strength for the two Parties, States and peoples.
For her part, Cuban Ambassador Lianys Torres Rivera affirmed that the exhibition is vivid evidence of the special friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba.
She added that the showcased photos highlight the historical milestones in the bilateral relations and feature the mutual support between the two countries in difficult times like the COVID-19 pandemic.
Along with the photos featuring historical events of the bilateral relations, the five-day exhibition also displays photos of the landscapes and people of Cuba, which were taken by 27 Vietnamese photographers during their stay in Cuba.
