Photo exhibition highlights 45-year development of Ho Chi Minh City
A photo exhibition spotlighting the 45-year development of the Southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City is underway on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975).
The event is taking place from April 28 to May 5 at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, Dong Khoi street, and the opposite location of Chi Lang Park.

The exhibition aims to promote patriotism and national pride through highlighting the city’s achievements in various fields. |
On display are 200 color and black-and-white photos introducing the historical tradition of the Vietnamese military and people, especially the working class in the resistance war against the U.S. to liberate the South and reunify the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The exhibition aims to promote patriotism and national pride through highlighting the city’s achievements in various fields, including economy, culture, society, security and defence.
