Painter Tran Quan Ngoc introducing his works to visitors 
The exhibition showcases 100 oil and watercolor paintings drawn by painter Tran Quan Ngoc when learning and working in the Soviet Union from 1954 to 1972.

The exhibition, held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7), aimed to disseminate the significance of the revolution for the revolutionary movements in the world and in Vietnam.

Painter Tran Quan Ngoc, born in 1938, owns 250 paintings on the Soviet Union. Apart from the 100 paintings exhibited at the National Museum of Vietnamese History, the remaining are on display at another exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City.

On this occasion, he presented four paintings to the National Museum of Vietnamese History.
