Recently, natural materials have been much sought after in the global consumption trend due to their advantages of high adaptation and environmental friendliness.

Vietnamese designers have worked closely and tirelessly with artisans and textile producers to create more natural materials to meet growing demands of fashion markets and to help expand fabric weaving villages in the country.

During the week, jointly organized by the Vietnam Television and Viet Mot Co., Ltd. (Vietmode), Italian designer Tea Gelashvili will introduce a collection featuring the hidden charm of Italy while Vietnamese designer Duy Nguyen will bring to audiences his collection of gentle suits made from tussore, a less processed natural form of silk. Meanwhile, well-known designer Minh Hanh will present the collection made from traditional materials such as Nhat Minh silk, Thien An, Quang Ngai and An Phuoc hemp textiles.
